This hotel is a true picture of luxury, with exclusive amenities to make the stay truly memorable. the room was spacious with high-end in-room breakfast, and private facilities that were just perfect to make the escape truly relaxing. It was located in an excellent location with a fully facilitated Restaurant, bar lounge area, and snack bar to meet all the needs of guests.

The restaurant's crockery especially for dinner A little rustic and no tablecloth or placemat especially for dinner: not very chic and hygienic for the category of the hotel.

The hotel has a traditional building with beautiful classical decor. The reception was welcoming and the staff provided very good service. The room was nice with a comfortable bed. The hotel offers a welcome goodie basket and a fridge with snacks and drinks. The breakfast was good, set in a beautiful dark wooden room. The location on George Street is excellent.

The staff at the concierge service are excellent . Without them, we won't have dinner on the 31st evening.

Unfortunately at the restaurant, while I had booked for the evening of 31/12,. the employee placed us at the bar instead of the restaurant . For a Saint Sylvester's Day party it's average. Especially with the noise of the bar's customers... We decided not to stay.. Impossible to find out for ourselves. A restaurant available at 8.30 pm.. It's an employee of the concierge's office who found us a restaurant... The internet service works very badly. During our stay we rarely had proper internet access.

We loved the fantastic location, just a 30-second walk from the main Princess Street. It was perfect for us as bike riders, allowing easy access to explore the city.

Noisy room poorly insulated air and noise on the street sleepless night and moreover no pressure in the shower. Eliminatory note Too bad for the super friendly staff.

During our stay at Intercontinental, we were blown away by the amazing view from our bedroom window. Looking north over the Forth estuary, it was amazing. The hotel itself was stylish and well-placed, making it easy for us to explore the town. The selection of bars and restaurants on George Street added to the overall experience. And, not to mention, the staff were really good. From the doorman to the management team, every person we encountered was friendly, helpful, and polite. They were pretty good too make our stay really good. We will definitely be returning to Intercontinental for our future trips.

The hotel is located in the heart of the city and close to the railway station, making it easily accessible. It is surrounded by lovely Italian restaurants and is only a short walk from the city centre. The room was spacious and the bathroom was brand new, fully equipped with high-quality fittings. The staff provided exceptional service, making our stay a comfortable one. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of options to suit everyone's preferences, from hot to cold dishes. The view from the room was breathtaking, overlooking the beautiful city.

The noise level in the courtyard could occasionally be quite loud and disruptive during our stay.

From the moment we arrived, they greeted us with a warm welcome and assisted us with our bags. The service was amazing, and they even had our bags in our room before we finished checking in. Another great aspect was the interesting bar and coffee place connected to the hotel, providing a convenient spot to relax and enjoy a drink or snack.

The staff were amazing, they couldn't do enough for us. They were super friendly and gave us great suggestions for exploring the city. The concierge staff in particular were really good, providing us with helpful tips and recommendations for restaurants and getting around. The location was also fantastic, with everything within walking distance. We were able to easily explore the city without needing to use taxis. the room was comfortable and clean, and we had a great view of the castle from our window.

Had drinks in the bar and a meal in the restaurant. Staff were excellent and attentive in both areas. The room was perfect, with a comfortable bed and all the necessary amenities. We were impressed with the cleanliness and comfort of our room. Despite some small issues with room size and lack of view, the staff were really good and made us feel welcome and valued. I recently stayed at The George Hotel in Edinburgh for a few days and had a fantastic experience. The doormen, especially George, were incredibly welcoming and made me feel right at home. The staff, including a helpful receptionist, went above and beyond to assist me with printing my flight schedule. The service and food at dinner were excellent, and the location was perfect for exploring the city. I would definitely recommend The George Hotel to my friends and hope to visit again soon.

The rooms were comfortable and clean, with spacious bathrooms and all the necessary amenities. The breakfast buffet was delicious and offered a variety of options for both kids and adults. We also enjoyed the stunning view from the rooftop patio, where we could relax and soak in the ambiance. our experience was excellent and we would highly recommend this hotel for a family vacation.

The only downside was the lack of air conditioning in some of the rooms.
